{Handmade Holiday}- We've nailed it with this one!

Last June, Stacy and I went to the 1st ever Elevate Bloggers conference co-hosted by Summer of Made by Munchies Mama. Somehow I managed to not post about Elevate...I'll keep it short...it was AWEsome! We left with inspiration, great swag, a cute craft that we made, sore abs {lots...I mean LOTS of laughing} and sore cheeks {again with the laughing and smiling}, but more than anything we left with friends.

We have since seen Summer as she started selling at some of the same boutiques as us this summer! Stacy and I love that we continue to see our crafty/blogging friends in real life not just on our phone/ipad/computer screens.

Summer is not only adorable but she's hilarious too! Make sure to follow her blog to hear about her, her 2 adorable boys {one named Dylan...so since we both have Dylan's we were meant to be friends, right?!?} and her hubby.

You can check out her awesome 'Nailed it Decals' on both Etsy and Store Envy. My favorites are the chevron and anchors!

Happy shopping!

{Market Night} Queen Bee Re-cap {part 1}

Last weekend, we were among a fabulous group of creative women (I didn't see many men...not sure if any vendors were or not) Stacy and I have wanted to go and check out the Queen Bee market during the last few shows but with busy schedules, a long-ish drive, and dragging kids...we just haven't gotten a chance.

We were among the jealous when we heard that Snap conference was not only out of state, but also that the spring Queen Bee Market would be taking place in Utah and not in San Diego this year.  Why hasn't anyone invented a tele-porter so I can be in two places at the same time?!? Seriously, someone get on that!

We were super excited and nervous when we decided to take the plunge and apply to the Spring-ish market that wasn't originally planned for SD area. We weren't really sure what to expect other than pure awesome-ness! Well...I will let the pictures and links do the talking... Let's just say that there will be lots to talk about! I have many more pictures of vendors to share...so stayed tuned for {part 2}.

Little Miss Kitchen Bliss (more about these fantastic friends of our on a future 'Market Night' post)

We can't wait for the next one!

{Market Night} #3- Grace for Grace

Again, Stacy and I SHOP...I keep thinking that with each market we will shop a little less and maybe actually keep all our hard earned money...but for now we spend every.single.time (shhhh don't tell the husbands).

We had the pleasure of being next to Tiffany at the Little Penelope Lane Boutique in March. We were admiring her work and she was doing the same with ours. We LOVE it when other vendors like/love what we have. She has a little boy so she knows just how hard it is to find cute boy stuff. We even made a custom Pegolls set for her lil' bubba.

Her work is amazing, she is even hand painting while she sells at shows...seriously AH.MAZ.ING. Follow her on facebook and check out her etsy shop.

Here is one of Stacy's great finds from Tiffany (and her super cute vintage little people sewing machine!) ! We hope to see her again soon!

{Market Night} #2 -Little Penelope Lane

Where to start? We've said it before, but we love to shop the other vendors at the markets we sell at. You'd have to be a vendor to see the mad dash to set up our booths to then run around and shop before costumers come...we all do it! And Stacy and I always shop at Sarah's booth! She makes the greatest hair wraps designed for girls AND adults and lots of cute hair bows and clips.

More importantly, she is just about the sweetest, nicest, and welcoming person we have met. She's a great mom and you'll have to read her blog about all the family adventures her, her husband and their 2 beautiful girls and handsome lil' man go on. Her oldest daughter...WILL be famous someday for her Spina Bifida advocacy work...did I mention that she is only 8?!? Read Katie's amazing story here. You'll have to follow the family blog to see all the amazing things this little girl is doing. She is just a sweet as her mom. I talked with her for just a few minutes at the LPL market her mother hosted last month and in just that few minutes she left a lasting impression.

I had every intention of posting a picture of us wearing them...but my hair wouldn't cooperate and Stacy...well she was busy today as a result of her son not cooperating...maybe she'll fill you all in later. So this shot from Sarah's fb page will have to work...but trust us they are AWEsome.

Make sure to check out and like her facebook page. Her amazing family blog and her Little Penelope Lane blog.

I know we are both looking forward to seeing Sarah again in a few weeks at a MOPS fundraiser in Yorba Linda and Queen Bee in Carlsbad!

*our shout outs for our {Market Night} post are un-paid and our way of spreading the love to other handmade vendors.

Little Penelope Lane Boutique

We both LOVE Little Penelope Lane for hair accessories and jumped at the chance to join in when we heard Sarah was organizing a Penelope Lane Boutique Event....... It is most certainly the farthest we have traveled for a market/ boutique, but we KNOW that it will be awesome and we will have so much fun (and cant wait to shop too.... don't tell our hubby's, although I'm sure that they have figured that out by now anyways). We hope that you all come by and say hi, don't be shy. In the meantime go ahead and stop by our Facebook page and "Like" us (and don't forget to share our page and blog with your friends)...... what can we say,  its nice to be liked ;)

We think that the Easter Bunny needs to support Handmade this year, so we will plan on meeting you all on March 10th at Penelope Lane Boutique. And we will have new goods to share too..... perfect for Easter ;)

To learn about some of  the other awesome vendors that you will find at the Penelope Lane Boutique, check out their Blog
If you are on Facebook, be sure to go to the Penelope Lane Event page and click on attending, that way you will get your event reminders :)
Here are some of our favorites that will be at Penelope Lane:
