Craftastic Saturday re-cap and GIVEAWAY

You know the day that you had a house full of friends and crafted, laughed and had fun all day?! Yep, it was awesome! Come take a little trip with us...

  

                 

Stacy and have had craft days and even one Craftastic Saturday before, but this Craftastic was taken up a notch. Stacy and I couldn't be more pleased. We picked the day on a whim and worked full force from day one. Did we have months of planning and preparation? Nope we busted our event out in just over a month. That's how we roll.

We started with these gorgeous multi-colored canvases. They took a long time, but were worth every single minute! I love how each and every one is so different from the next. {full tutorial on The Pleated Poppy}

After our wonderful lunch, we started on these lovely wooden pumpkins. Some of our guests, even busted out stencils from our swag bags to make their own original piece. 

We also did our own version of Anthropolgie inspired EAT letters, jersey knit bracelets and Halloween specimen art. Full tutorials will be up on the blog soon. 

I put myself in charge of contacting friends and vendor for sponsorships, while Stacy was our social media rockstar. She posted our sponsor shout outs, she made sure everyone knew and appreciated all our sponsors.

We have a confession AND a giveaway

And no the confession is not that we have a giveaway.

We have a problem. Stacy and I are big planners. And not like the make big plans and actually DO them type of planners, we are the make big plans and get distracted...SQUIRREL...type of planners. We have self-diagnosed ourselves with Craft ADD. We can't help it and there is no know cure or medication.

Why am I telling you this, you may wonder. Stacy and I have a couple of craft boutiques coming up for Bubbas Basics and I really don't want to be frantically sewing, painting or tagging the night before. Not sure how I'm going to fix our problem, I think we may sit down and make a plan...tomorrow.

So if you see us around, ask us how our boutique prep is doing. If you see us wandering around target sipping our Starbucks, chances are we should be working.
